Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior is reportedly willing to consider a move to Arsenal this summer, though he remains focused on securing a contract extension with his current club and is even willing to lower his demands to help push a deal through.

Wages are not the central sticking point in talks, but rather the winger's request for a renewal bonus—something Madrid refuse to offer any of their players. Vinícius is seeking an overall package comparable to the one given to Kylian Mbappé, whose salary is on a similar level to Vinícius but who also benefits from a substantial signing-on fee following his move from Paris Saint-Germain.
According to The Athletic, Vinícius is willing to ease his position in negotiations with Madrid. He has consistently and publicly expressed his wish to stay at the Bernabéu and is ready to scale back his demands in the hope of reaching a resolution.

Arsenal Ready to Make Huge Financial Commitment
Just as Mbappé continues to benefit from the signing-on fee he received in 2024, Vinícius is aware that a similarly lucrative financial arrangement could be on offer from Arsenal.
The report states that decision-makers at the Emirates have already greenlit a proposal that would break their existing wage structure, with the club viewing Vinícius as the kind of marquee signing capable of elevating the squad to an entirely new level.
The package could include a signing-on bonus as well as image rights. AS report that Madrid currently hold 50% of Vinícius's image rights which, given his standing as one of the sport's biggest names, effectively covers his own wages at the Bernabéu.
If Arsenal were to offer Vinícius a larger share of his image rights along with a generous salary and a signing-on bonus, their overall package could surpass anything Madrid is able to put forward. The key question remains whether Vinícius genuinely wants to take the Gunners up on that offer.
