Wrexham's Upcoming Friendlies

Wrexham team preparation

Wrexham have no additional friendlies arranged before their opening Championship fixture on August 9, but Phil Parkinson has disclosed that two more preseason encounters are planned before the journey to St Mary's Stadium.

One will be an 'internal match' and the other will be a standard friendly against an undisclosed opponent.

"Upon our return, we will have a couple of days to rest and recover which is crucial," stated the Wrexham manager. "Then we'll begin preparations and that first weekend, we're planning an internal match. Following that, we're looking to confirm one fixture the subsequent weekend."

The coming friendly will not take place at the Racecourse Ground, however, with the pitch currently unavailable following this summer's £1 million ($864,280, $1.34 million) refurbishment.
