The young striker had anticipated that the appointment of new manager Xabi Alonso would help revive his disappointing inaugural campaign in Madrid. Having been given the prestigious No. 9 jersey, Endrick entered the 2025–26 season determined to prove himself.
However, Endrick has remained unused throughout the current campaign. Alonso has instead placed his faith in Gonzalo García as Kylian Mbappé's understudy, prompting the young Brazilian to explore temporary exit options from Real Madrid.
