William Saliba Vows to Deliver for Arsenal After Penning Fresh Deal: "I'm Proud"
William Saliba has pledged to give his all in return for the unwavering support he receives from supporters following the completion of his new Arsenal deal.
Despite persistent courting from Real Madrid, Saliba finalized terms for his extended contract last week, turning down an opportunity to join the Spanish giants at the Santiago Bernabéu to continue his development at Arsenal.
Remaining at Arsenal was always Saliba's first choice, with the French defender emphasizing that no venue offers better prospects for advancing his career.
"I take pride in this moment because I initially joined in 2019, and here in 2025, I remain committed to extending my stay," he expressed. "I'm absolutely delighted.
"This feels like home to me. We possess a strong team, an excellent squad, and outstanding staff. The manager suits me perfectly, making this the ideal environment.
"I relish each opportunity to don this jersey. I strive to contribute everything, and moving forward I'll dedicate even more to this institution and its supporters.
"I share a unique bond with them, as during my loan spells when I wasn't featuring here, they would reach out saying: 'someday, you'll represent this club, don't lose hope.' This will always stay with me.

Saliba expressed admiration for head coach Mikel Arteta, considering the Spanish tactician the ideal mentor to assist him in his mission to "reach the pinnacle, or rank among the elite defenders globally."
