Wrexham will return to America for their 2026 summer tour, featuring a marquee showdown with Liverpool as the centerpiece of their East Coast schedule.
The Red Dragons, who dream of reaching England's premier division, will face another Premier League opponent during preseason preparations. The Welsh club has previously battled Chelsea, Bournemouth and Manchester United on American territory and will now add the other record-holding English champions to their collection.
Wrexham and Liverpool will meet in the Bronx at the legendary Yankee Stadium, which serves as home to MLB's New York Yankees and MLS's New York City FC. This represents a significant step up from their previous encounter in 2007, which drew only 11,210 spectators in North Wales.
Phil Parkinson's squad will also face Leeds United and Sunderland during their summer expedition as preparation for the 2026–27 campaign. These exhibition matches represent the club's first American appearances since 2024.

The Red Dragons' planned tour won't begin until the 2026 World Cup—primarily hosted throughout the United States—reaches its conclusion. These matches will also avoid any venues designated for football's premier global competition this summer.
Wrexham will launch their preseason campaign against Leeds United at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on July 25. They'll then journey to New York for their Liverpool encounter at Yankee Stadium on July 29.
The tour concludes with a visit to Philadelphia, where Sunderland awaits at Subaru Park on Aug. 2. Wales' oldest football club previously faced MLS side Philadelphia Union at this same facility in 2023.

Following a two-year absence, American supporters will finally have the opportunity to witness Wrexham compete live this summer. Tickets are expected to be in high demand considering the club's substantial U.S. following generated by their Emmy-winning documentary series, Welcome to Wrexham.
Official Wrexham members and season-ticket holders will receive priority ticket access at reduced rates, along with chances to win exclusive matchday experiences in America. Supporters can also sign up for a Priority Pass ensuring early ticket availability.
The presale launches Tuesday, March 10, followed by general public sales on Thursday, March 12. Wrexham stated that complete information, including purchase methods and locations, plus kickoff times, will be revealed "in the coming weeks."
