Wrexham has revealed that Firefox will serve as the club's new front-of-shirt sponsor beginning in the 2026–27 season.
The Welsh side confirmed a multi-year deal with Mozilla's independent web browser, which will also take on the role of Wrexham's Official Web Browser Partner.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Firefox logo will feature on the front of all men's and women's first-team shirts throughout the coming season. The partnership will make its public debut this weekend when Wrexham reveals its new away kit in a match against Wisła Kraków. The club offered a glimpse of the black away strip as part of the announcement. Sports Illustrated understands the new home kit will retain Wrexham's iconic red, while the third kit is anticipated to be largely cream in color.
"We are delighted to welcome Firefox as our new front-of-kit partner," Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds said in an official club statement. "We love an underdog story, and both Wrexham and Firefox know what it means to take on the giants. It requires creativity, determination and a spotless browsing history. So let's effing go…"
Those views were shared by John Solomon, Chief Marketing Officer at Mozilla.
"Teaming up with Wrexham AFC is a natural match," Solomon said. "At their heart, both Wrexham and Firefox are challenger brands that have cultivated passionate global communities by doing things their own way and staying true to their identity.
"Wrexham has built something truly remarkable through authenticity, ambition and a genuine bond with its fans. Firefox has approached the internet with that same mindset—striving to shape it as it should be, with openness, community and people at its core. We're excited about what lies ahead and what we can achieve together."
For privacy reasons, our full kit has been blocked. But we are SO excited to announce our new front-of-kit partner: @firefox. Unblocked version coming shortly…

Wrexham Set for More Sponsorship Changes
Wrexham's deal with Firefox marks the second major sponsorship agreement the club has announced in recent weeks, following Nex Playground's replacement of HP as its sleeve sponsor last month.
While the financial details of either arrangement have not been made public, Firefox is the latest prominent brand to align itself with Wrexham since the club's Hollywood takeover five years ago.
In its most recent financial results, covering the club's 2024–25 promotion campaign from League One, Wrexham disclosed that sponsorship income contributed $23 million of its $44 million in total revenue. That figure represented a 31.5% rise from the prior year, with further growth anticipated following the club's promotion to the Championship.
The Red Dragons provide sponsors with a distinctive platform, with their global reach extending far beyond the 46 regular-season league games they contest each year. A front-of-shirt sponsor benefits not only from worldwide exposure through one of soccer's most rapidly growing brands and its connection to Mac and Reynolds, but also from prominent placement in Welcome to Wrexham, FX's acclaimed documentary series, which has already been renewed for three additional seasons.

Wrexham has already locked in new front-of-shirt and sleeve sponsors this summer, with a new back-of-shirt sponsor also anticipated to be unveiled before the season gets underway. In the meantime, the Racecourse Ground is without a naming-rights partner after its three-year deal with StoK Cold Brew came to an end this summer.
The Welsh club is unlikely to struggle for interested parties should it choose to sell the stadium's naming rights once more. It could also receive a considerable financial windfall if the naming rights to the new $95 million Kop Stand are eventually sold.

Those growing commercial revenues will be particularly significant following the introduction of the new Squad Cost Ratio (SCR) regulations. Under the rules, clubs may spend up to 85% of their total revenue on squad costs, while an annual equity injection of around $13.5 million can also be counted toward revenue, boosting overall spending capacity.
Club insiders suggest Wrexham's revenue for its first season back in the Championship could reach approximately $65 million, though that figure won't be confirmed until next year's financial results are published. If correct, the club would be able to invest roughly $69 million under the new financial framework.
