Wrexham Women etched their names in the history books on Wednesday evening, staging a stunning comeback to beat FC Pyunik 4–2 in a thrilling UEFA Women's Champions League first qualifying round semifinal.
The Red Dragons became the first Welsh women's side to ever claim victory in a European fixture, with goals from Katie Barker, Lili Jones, and Ava Suckley doing the damage.

What Next for Wrexham Women?
Wrexham Women will now take on Latvian outfit Riga in the Group 3 final on Saturday, July 25.
If Jenny Sugarman's side progress from the first qualifying round, they will advance to Group 7 of the second qualifying round, where they would face Danish champions HB Køge in the semifinal before a potential showdown with either Lithuanian side Gintra or Scottish club Hearts in the final.
The nine winners from the third qualifying round ties will join the nine clubs that earn automatic berths in the league phase. Unlike the first two rounds, the third qualifying round operates as a conventional two-legged knockout format.
European giants including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea enter the competition at the third qualifying round stage this season. However, as Wrexham are competing via the Champions Path, the toughest opponent they could potentially encounter at that stage would be Czech champions Sparta Prague.
