Liverpool Stunned as Alisson Faces Tempting Exit Offer

Turkish club Galatasaray has reportedly approached Liverpool's goalkeeper Alisson regarding a potential major transfer this summer.

With Fernando Muslera set to depart, Galatasaray is searching for a new goalkeeper and has shown interest in several European talents, including Chelsea's Đorđe Petrović and Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen.

Alisson is also among their targets, with the Brazilian frequently subject to transfer speculation. Saudi Arabian clubs have expressed interest, and Florian Plettenberg has verified that Galatasaray made a substantial offer to the goalkeeper.

However, Alisson quickly declined the opportunity to move, choosing instead to remain with Liverpool for at least the upcoming 2025-26 season.

The star goalkeeper recently disclosed that his Anfield contract is entering its final year, though he expects Liverpool to activate a one-year extension option that would secure his position until at least 2027.

Arne Slot's team has already begun preparations for Alisson's eventual exit. They signed Giorgi Mamardashvili last summer, who has now joined Liverpool following a season-long loan back at Valencia.

The £29 million ($39.2 million) acquisition has publicly stated his intention to compete with Alisson for the starting position, but the experienced Brazilian has no intention of stepping aside anytime soon.

Liverpool has also recruited 20-year-old Ármin Pécsi this summer, though his immediate future remains undecided. Pécsi might be loaned out or retained as a third-choice goalkeeper for Slot's first team.
