Bombshell: Teammate Accidentally Reveals Liverpool's Transfer Plans for Milos Kerkez

Justin Kluivert has shared his expectation that Milos Kerkez will transfer to Liverpool this summer, expressing no resentment toward his Bournemouth colleague who appears set to depart.
The news of Kerkez's forthcoming move to Merseyside has been considered almost definite for some time now. Andy Robertson—who stands to be succeeded by Liverpool's anticipated new signing—practically acknowledged this while representing Scotland internationally. "We're not naive," he remarked, "it seems like a deal might potentially be finalized."
Kluivert conveyed a similar sentiment. "He will likely go there," the Dutch attacker told Voetbal Primeur when questioned about his Bournemouth teammate's possible northern transfer. While Robertson adopted a competitive attitude toward the news—"I have faith in myself," he cautioned. "I'm confident in my capabilities"—Kluivert expressed only positive wishes for his soon-to-be former colleague.
"I hope it works out for him," the 26-year-old confessed. "He hasn't formally said farewell yet, but I hope he succeeds there."
Kerkez became part of Bournemouth two years ago, transferring from AZ Alkmaar in a transaction valued at approximately £18 million ($24.5 million). The Cherries are expected to secure a substantial profit with widespread reports indicating that Liverpool will pay up to £45 million ($61.2 million) for the 21-year-old defender.
Arne Slot's Premier League champions have already allocated £29.6 million ($39.8 million) for Jeremie Frimpong to replace the outgoing Trent Alexander-Arnold on the right side of defense. Following rumors that Jarell Quansah might be pursued by Erik ten Hag's Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool's defensive acquisitions may continue beyond these signings.
Bournemouth has already begun preparations to replace Kerkez with the reported recruitment of Rennes captain Adrien Truffert being arranged by the progressive-thinking Cherries. With Kerkez poised to join a roster that already includes Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas, it remains uncertain whether Liverpool will attempt to transfer one of their existing left-backs.
