Barcelona Unveil the Iconic Artist Behind Their Stunning Special Clasico Jersey

Barcelona's kit for the upcoming Clásico on Oct. 25 will spotlight Tyler, The Creator, with the club's shirt set to display the logo of the rapper's fashion label GOLF WANG.

The partnership marks the latest in a string of campaigns between Barcelona and primary sponsor Spotify, with a prominent artist claiming the spotlight on the club's jersey during fixtures against Real Madrid.

Grammy-winning artist Tyler, The Creator becomes the ninth musician to appear on a Barcelona kit in recent memory, with Drake being the first back in 2022. Following him, the logos of Rosalía, The Rolling Stones, Karol G, Coldplay, Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran, and Olivia Rodrigo have all graced Barça's Clásico shirts.

Barça have claimed victory in five of the Clásicos featuring artist logos and suffered defeat in three, thus far.

The limited-edition jersey will see the GOLF logo take the place of Spotify's branding on Barcelona's shirts for the Oct. 25 clash with Real Madrid at Camp Nou, and will also be worn by Barça's women's side against Granada in Liga F the day before.

Just 1,899 limited-edition shirts will be made available for purchase—a nod to the year the club was established. The deal will also see Barça and GOLF WANG—Tyler, The Creator's streetwear label—drop a collection including jackets, hoodies, track pants, T-shirts, shorts, scarves, socks, and more.

A statement from GOLF WANG reads: "There are few stages in the world as grand as El Clásico. Seeing GOLF WANG alongside iconic global brands like FC Barcelona and Spotify sets a new benchmark for collaborations between sport, music and fashion, and unites the worlds of football and fashion in a way that is truly unique for GOLF WANG."

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have one remaining La Liga fixture each before their highly anticipated showdown at Camp Nou this month. As ever, the meeting between football's two most storied clubs will be must-watch television—but this encounter carries extra edge.

Following a flawless start to the 2026–27 campaign, Barça sit five points clear at the summit of La Liga and six ahead of Madrid. Should that advantage hold through the next round of fixtures, Hansi Flick's side will have the opportunity to extend their lead over their fiercest rivals to nine points on Oct. 25—a margin that could prove psychologically, if not mathematically, daunting for Madrid to claw back.

Meanwhile, José Mourinho's return to this fixture for the first time in 13 years adds a compelling subplot, with the 63-year-old serving as a pantomime villain for Barcelona supporters, given the deep-rooted tension between the manager and a club he once served as assistant coach.

The most recent meeting between Barcelona and Madrid ended in a 2–0 victory for La Blaugrana back in May—a result that sealed Flick's side as La Liga champions.
