Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will wrap up their Oceania tour campaigns on Saturday with a preseason friendly clash in Sydney, Australia.
The two London clubs have each already seen action in the region. Chelsea kicked off the Xabi Alonso era in memorable fashion with a wild 6–4 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers, while Spurs defeated Auckland FC in New Zealand before being held to a 1–1 stalemate by Sydney FC.
Neither squad is operating at full capacity, though Chelsea appear to hold the stronger hand after several of their first-team regulars missed out on World Cup selection. Tottenham may lean more heavily on academy talent to fill the gaps in Roberto De Zerbi's lineup.
