While the struggles of their competitors mean Arsenal should have cruised to Premier League glory this season, when you've endured such a lengthy title drought and suffered a string of near-misses, the notion of such a straightforward triumph was always wishful thinking.
Now, they're tantalizingly close. A hard-fought 1–0 win over the already-relegated Burnley means Mikel Arteta's side are just one victory away from the title. And remarkably, they could even be crowned champions before the final day arrives.
When Manchester City claimed victory in the pivotal title showdown last month, it appeared set up for yet another Arsenal collapse. However, the north Londoners have resisted a late-season fade this time around, with five wins from their last six not only putting them on the verge of the title, but also securing their first Champions League final appearance in twenty years.
Greatness and a painful anti-climax are separated by the thinnest of margins. Still, a potentially historic conclusion to the campaign could begin when Man City face the seemingly unstoppable Bournemouth.
Here's how Arsenal can clinch the Premier League title on Tuesday night.
If Man City Fail to Beat Bournemouth

Arsenal moved five points clear of Man City after squeezing past Burnley on Monday night, courtesy of a first-half header from Kai Havertz. The German was fortunate to stay on the field after a challenge on Lesley Ugochukwu, as the Gunners managed their lead without facing significant danger.
City could hardly have counted on the Clarets to do them any favors in north London, and they must now win at Bournemouth to keep the title race alive heading into the final day.
Arsenal will be confirmed as champions if City fail to win at the Vitality Stadium. A defeat would leave them five points behind with one game remaining, while a draw would leave them four adrift. Bournemouth haven't lost a Premier League match since selling Antoine Semenyo to their upcoming opponents back in January — a remarkable 16-game unbeaten run.
If Man City Beat Bournemouth

Bournemouth may be in outstanding form, but they have a poor record against Man City. The Cityzens have won 16 of their 17 Premier League encounters with the Cherries, and another victory here would cut the gap on Arsenal to just two points heading into the final round of fixtures.
It's the scenario every Gooner dreads, with Arsenal travelling to Crystal Palace likely needing all three points. The Eagles have the Conference League final on their minds, but Oliver Glasner won't be fielding a weakened lineup.
Arsenal have barely done enough to get past West Ham United and Burnley. They may not be so lucky against Palace, who possess dangerous attacking threats and a top-class playmaker in midfield. Only five teams have conceded fewer goals in the Premier League this season, either.
Even a draw at Selhurst Park could be exploited by City, who, should they win their remaining two fixtures, would hold the superior goal difference. Pep Guardiola, in what looks set to be his farewell home appearance at the Etihad Stadium, faces Unai Emery's side in the away dugout, and his Aston Villa team — still recovering from their celebrations — won't be motivated to do Arsenal any favors with their Champions League place for 2026–27 already secured.
