Manchester United travel to bottom-half side Fulham in the Premier League this Sunday in what will be their last fixture before the international break kicks in.
The Red Devils are desperate to bounce back after suffering back-to-back defeats in humiliating circumstances. A contentious 1–0 loss to 10-man Manchester City was the first blow, but matters deteriorated further for Michael Carrick and his squad as they squandered a two-goal advantage in a 3–2 Carabao Cup third-round exit to Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday.
Having made several changes midweek that ultimately backfired, Carrick is expected to return to his first-choice lineup for the visit to Craven Cottage. With the heat turning up, there is simply no margin for mistakes.
Man Utd Predicted Lineup vs. Fulham

GK: Senne Lammens—Karl Darlow's underwhelming debut left United fans yearning for the reliability of Lammens. The Belgian stopper has been largely faultless amid the club's rocky start to the campaign.
RB: Diogo Dalot—The fullback positions continue to be a problem area for United, and Dalot's performances so far this season have been below par. Fulham will be eager to take advantage of the Portuguese defender's frequent lapses in focus.
CB: Harry Maguire—United have been conceding regularly this season in spite of Maguire anchoring the backline. After going up against Erling Haaland last weekend, Fulham's Gonzalo García should pose him a more manageable challenge.
CB: Lisandro Martínez—The Argentine was given a rest midweek as the center-back pairing of Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven failed to keep Brighton at bay. Martínez should come into this one refreshed and ready.
LB: Luke Shaw—Shaw is still working his way back to full fitness, but following Patrick Dorgu's underwhelming display last weekend, Carrick may hand the Englishman a recall if he is deemed fit enough.
CM: Youri Tielemans—Touted as the standout value signing of the summer, Tielemans has not immediately resolved United's midfield problems. The 29-year-old is a composed presence on the ball but provides less defensive cover than fellow summer arrival Andrey Santos.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo—After earning a call-up to Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the international window, Mainoo is among the rare United players to have emerged from the opening weeks with his reputation intact. He has been truly outstanding.
RW: Bryan Mbeumo—The Cameroonian winger knows west London well from his time at Brentford, and he has found the net three times in eight previous Premier League encounters against Fulham.
AM: Bruno Fernandes—Even Fernandes has been unable to rescue United from their early-season struggles, but few would dare write off the skipper from producing something special in the capital. He is also motivated to make amends for his penalty miss at Craven Cottage in a 1–1 draw last season.
LW: Marcus Rashford—The England winger has brought pace to United's attack, though his final product has yet to reflect his work rate. He has gone without a goal or assist against Fulham since their first meeting back in December 2018.
ST: Matheus Cunha—The battle for the striker spot between Cunha and Benjamin Šeško goes on, but Carrick appears to favour the Brazilian, who contributes more to United's build-up play.
